Terms of Service

You must be at least 18 years of age and have the legal authority to enter into binding contracts on behalf of yourself or your organisation to use DVS. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements.

You must register for an account to access DVS. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information updated.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect any unauthorised access.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information, violate these Terms, or engage in prohibited conduct.

DVS provides a platform that enables registered businesses to run identity, address, and business verification checks through integrated third-party data providers. The Service includes:

• Submitting verification requests to supported providers
• Viewing verification results and audit history
• Managing team members and business settings
• Accessing reporting and analytics (where available)

DVS acts as an intermediary between you and verification data providers. We do not generate or guarantee verification results — they are produced by third-party providers.

You may use DVS solely for lawful business purposes, including:

• Verifying the identity or address of individuals with their knowledge and consent
• Conducting due diligence as required by applicable regulations
• Supporting KYC (Know Your Customer) or AML (Anti-Money Laundering) compliance obligations

You must obtain all necessary consents from individuals whose data you submit for verification before using DVS. You represent that you are authorised to process that data under applicable law.

You agree not to:

• Use DVS for any unlawful purpose, including fraud, identity theft, or unauthorised data access
• Submit verification requests without the knowledge or consent of the subject individual
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of DVS
• Use automated bots, scrapers, or tools to access DVS in an unauthorised manner
• Resell or sublicense access to the Service without prior written approval
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the platform or its connected systems
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other accounts, systems, or networks connected to DVS

Verification results are sourced from third-party data providers and are provided "as is". DVS does not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for purpose of any verification result.

You acknowledge that verification results should not be used as the sole basis for high-stakes decisions. DVS expressly disclaims liability for decisions made by you or your organisation based on verification outputs.

Certain features of DVS may require payment. Fees are displayed at the point of purchase or within your account settings. All fees are in the currency specified at checkout and are non-refundable except as required by law or expressly stated in a separate agreement.

We reserve the right to change our pricing at any time, with reasonable notice provided to active subscribers.

All content, software, trademarks, and materials on DVS are owned by or licensed to Triax Technologies. Nothing in these Terms grants you ownership of any DVS intellectual property.

You retain ownership of data you submit to DVS. By submitting data, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process it solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

DVS may provide you with access to non-public information about the platform ("Confidential Information"). You agree not to disclose Confidential Information to third parties or use it for any purpose outside the scope of these Terms.

You may close your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your access to DVS at our discretion, with or without notice, for violation of these Terms or any applicable law.

Upon termination, your right to use DVS ceases immediately. Sections relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law survive termination.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, DVS and Triax Technologies shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the greater of (a) the fees you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) ₦50,000.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DVS, Triax Technologies, and their officers, directors, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Lagos State, Nigeria.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice within the DVS platform. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
